DMC4 was one of the reasons i was goin to buy a ps3 .. Still MGS4 is enough to make me buy a ps3 unless ofcourse its also making its way to the 360 ...

DMC4 being cross platform is a good thing.

Doesn' t really surprise me, but I can say Awesome more great games for the 360.

I' ll still buy a PS3 solely for MGS4.

I guess its good news for 360 owners but definately bad news for sony.

They are already having a difficult time moving ps3s at its already high price, losing big named exclusives makes it that much more difficult to justify the extra US$200 (i' m just talking as a console not as a multimedia platform). Granted its not as big as MGS4 or FF but it is a significant loss.

I begs the question if even more games previously playstation exclusive, will go multiplatform. GTA and Assassins Creed first, and now DMC. It must be worrying times at sony. This will hurt (not as much as GTA).

But this may also lead to current 360 exclusives (Lost Planet and Dead Rising) jumping ship to the PS3.

PS3 is no longer a stable platform, If they don' t take over Europe or do really well over here, there fucked.


Yesterday, i seen a que at a newly opened ' game' shop, about 20 Business-type men all queing for a Wii (just before they had to go to work).. lol

The industry is changing.

I' m thinking of trying one of them, should I start with the first one or are the sequels so much better that I should skip the first one?
I remember the TV commercial they had for DMC. A guy was like cutting up his living room with a sword and stuff, pretty cool.

While being bad news for sony, This isnt bad news for us, unless your a complete sony Fanboy. While Dmc4 is one of the reasons why I am getting a ps3, there still is plenty of exculsives and worth while games on it. Its not like it has jumped the ship and turned into a 360 exculsive, its still coming to ps3 which is all that reall y matters.

Anyway, If you looked at the signs, Dmc3 being ported to pc and the like, you could have guessed what exculsive is jumping.

Some people think the first is the best, if you want a survival horror mixed with hack and slash gameplay then yeah go for it, but my personal rfavorite, and overal best of the series, is Dmc3, Its so hard. It will make you want to cry

The first and third games are the best. The second is awful.

If i had to recommend just one then it' d actually be the first. The third game is badass and tricky to boot, but it' s easier than Ninja Gaiden so it' s accessible enough and while it' s more fleshed out it doesn' t have the charm of the original.

DMC4 going multi-platform has been rumored forever, fueled by Capcom saying their future was multi- platform development. Since Dead Rising, Lost Planet and Devil My Cry 4 (and probably Monster Hunter and Resident Evil 5) all use tailored versions of the same engine and two of those games are already on 360, DMC4 was a no-brainer.

This is obviously good for Capcom, and it' s obviously good for us, but it' s not good for Sony because of how it " appears" to other publishers.

But meh, i' ll probably still buy the PS3 version because i don' t think the buttons on the 360 pad are suited to the kind of punishment DMC4 will inflict...

Something tells me that the price of the ps3 will lower much sooner than we had anticipated :P:P

I don' t mind it being Multi, it' s good actually. Now XBots can play Devil May Cry instead of bitching about it. Makes me wonder which version will be the superior one.

Now give us a decent Lost Planet already Capcom! What in the blue hell is Lost Planet Wars?! I want a bloody Port!

I know Mass X, but its ps3 that needs all the help it can get, and losing important exclusives definately doesn' t help matters.

Its not the end of the ps3, not by a long shot, but its gonna make things more difficult for the ps3, that is for certain.

As great news as this may seem to be it doesn' t bother me at all. I wouldn' t have bought DMC4 if I had a PS3 or not and certainly won' t be getting it for my 360. I' ve never been into DMC. I played the first one and I just couldn' t get into it at all.

Now if MGS4 were to come out for 360 then I’d really question the PS3’s existence.
