this is the most absuuuuuuurd official awards i' ve ever seen, they must be on crack or something , WTF !

Wii sports had to win best sports or multi player game. thatg good, surprisiing other titles got pushed over. I didn' t expect Crackdown to win so many awards. But who really cares who win awards and who don' t. Buy and play games that you like, every one has opinions and every so often something great comes along where an unbiased unanimous vote is given.

The only one it deserves to win is casual

Wow look at Wiisports go!?!? Its a surprising result but not hard to imagine either. Well considering it almost single handed sold the Wii to the masses was this really unexpected?

Okami came out in 2007? I thought it was at least a year old. And no way Kane & Lynch wins anything.

So when does the year end and begin for them? The year isn' t over yet, and some of those games came out last year.

Retarded, I hope that no one had to pay them to get those results. Almost everyone here could have choosen more deserving picks.

So why exactly did Wii Sports win in Strategy & Simulation? Because it' s such an accurate representation of real Sports? Playing Virtua Tennis with your Sega Bass Fishing Remote feels more realistic than Wii Tennis. Same goes for Gameplay and Sports.

Anyway what kind of Awards are those anyway? Never heard of BAFTA, can anybody fill me in?

British Art and Film Technical Awards, I think.

Some of you guys may not think much of the awards but this allows 2K to put out a GOTY Edition of BioShock.

Anyway, Wii Sports dominated at least this award show and i' m sure it' ll feature heavily in other Game of the Year awards. Kudos to Nintendo.

The Baftas are a sham.

Some of the games arent even released yet. or unreleased in some areas. Some of the judges wont have played any of the games and none of them are likely to have completed any of them.

Nintendo should be proud of wii sports though, they hit the nail. Wii sports just leaves me wanting.
