Not at 250 bones for the initial 1 million launch units I' m not. I' m not against paying that much, but I' m moving soon and 250 doesn' t fit into my budget at the moment.

Sorry, didn' t realize I sounded mad.

The PSP isn' t for me. Maybe when it gets a bit cheaper but it' s basically a portable PS2, which I' ve no need for.

I have it and I love it. Considering that it' s more powerful than the PS2 in some ways (CPU, textures, effects) I think the price is a steal for this type of technology on the go.

I wouldn' t mind having it, but I don' t want to pay $250 for it. I' d be willing to compromise and pay between $150 and $199 though. And I certainly don' t want to pay $400 for it, and that' s the only way you can get it at Electronics Boutique (crappy place anyway). They force you to buy 3 crappy games (when I only want one game) and a stpid peripheral that I don' t want nor need. Sony also needs to come out with a Value-less Pack that does not include Spider Man 2 the movie. The movie is not worth owning and I don' t want to pay for it. If I did want to own it, I' d watch it on DVD where it would be 50 times more enjoyable anyway. They should have included Ridge racer instead as well as a 512 MB mammory stick.

The joy you get from PSP is worth a lot more than $250. PERIOD!

I think I' ll pick one up. I can' t remember the name right now but it has a badass FPS game coming out. I really want to play it.

No Ridge Racer game is worth $250+! And that' s the only game I want. Plus, it doesn' t even have a CELL processor, so it MUST suck.

My PSP arrived today complete with Ridge Racers. It is awesome. Such a lovely piece of kit, and that screen! Wow! Brilliant!

yes thats going to be very usefull in such a rural area where i live, and dont say internet router as i have a 56k dail up. i have never really played a game online really [yes i play unreal 2004 on dail up but its unplayable] never played xbox live, hell i never got to use broadband, not once!. Sometimes i envy all of you with your good computers and your wallets full of money and all your ipods and psp' s, i bet you have all 3 consoles! i only got to play the xbox at christmas for the first time [i never played halo] and yet i know so much about it. oh i have gone a little off topic but i got carryed away...

Don' t get me wrong I don' t hate the PSP. I' ll buy one eventually... I' m a big Game fan and wouldn' t want to miss out on any PSP exclusive games. I' d just rather pick it up for a discount price ^_^
