Well, if you plan on watching it you have to watch the Road Warrior first. Mad Max was the sequel. I like ' em both, but seeing as it' s kind of old now, it may seem dated if you watch it now.

I watched a boy and his dog, which as far as i know were an inspiration to Mad Max.

I think i can watch mad max, i watched Blade Runner without curling my toes too much!

If you don' t want to watch Road Warrior, Mad Max, or Thunderdome, just do out and check out Doomsday when it hits theaters. From the commercials, it looks a hell of a lot like Road Warrior and the like.

You have it backwards. Mad Max was the first, the Road Warrior was second, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was the third.

The Road Warrior is the most concentrated dose of incredible live action car battles.
