Kojima Says More MGS if You Want It?! - Apr 01, 2007 03:59
A very short quote from Kotaku caught my interest today as I was reading.

Kojima talks about how much he' s missed " Mr. Rumble"

He also says if you all want more Metal Gear Solid, then you' ll keep getting Metal Gear Solid

On both subjects. We all know Kojima is getting tired of MGS, but the rest of his team can' t be that inept. Heres me hoping that it doesn' t start to suck once he' s gone.

Subject 2, he misses " Mr. Rumble" . Was there ever any confirmation of getting it back? There was that thread here a month or so ago, but Sony has been unusually devoid of leaks or other information.

To be honest i really hope that MGS4 is the last MGS. Since Kojima is not interested in the MGS series anymore then they(Konami) must really stop the series now that it is at its peak.

About Mr Rumble i never had the chance to play with that game. I keep hearing about it. Was it that good?

Mr. Rumble was freaking awesome. He provided immersive entertainment, no matter how much of a " step-backwards" it was.

I cant see why MGS4 wont have rumble, unless the controllers are delayed into the back end of never.

Kojima needs to decide what he wants.

He would have stopped after MGS2. Then he still does MGS3 because he felt the team didn' t have the MGS-spirit down completely.
He announces it' s his last MGS title he will work on.

A bit later he starts on MGS4 himself again while having whined that he wanted to do stop (once again).

If there is a MGS5 I ain' t gonna be surprised if he' s still working on it himself.

MGS sux

So who is this? Seriously, PM me, who the eff are you? :)

unless the controllers are delayed into the backend of forever

And that' s what I' m afraid of. It was really exciting when they announced it, but there hasn' t been a thing since then. I' m not sure if there was even confirmation of a new controller. Just a statement saying that they were back with Immersion.

" God of War II director Cory Barlog has dropped a heavy hint that the PS3 SixAxis will be given a rumble feature in the future.

It' s amazing what can come from a launch party of a videogame. 1up reports that Barlog let slip a few interesting things about the future of the God of War series (which will obviously hit PS3 at some point this year or next).

Here' s the clip: " Did Barlog just confirm that God of War 3 will be in 1080p with SixAxis and VIBRATION functions on PS3? He sure did! Whoa! Well, technically he didn' t confirm GOW3, but he confirmed SixAxis and vibration for the future of God of War."

Whoa(!) indeed.

And on that note, Kotaku reports that Sony is already testing a rumbling SixAxis. It' s all pointing in the right direction..."

Meh, I already knew this... since I know things.

Still... ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOMG, HJDSHKJDFHLKASHFK

I agree to wanting MGS4 to end the series. I love it, but think it is time to let it rest in peace, before it turns sour.

Also, I wish Kojima would make a new snatcher game. I know it wasn' t the most interseting game, gameplay wise, but the Blade Runner Copy/Pasta setting fits to my taste, and I really enjoy it' s atmosphere.
