Unfortunately the game has gone back to the drawing board and will be completely different to what we' ve seen already.

A complete waste of a potentially awesome game. Dark Sector is one of the games that i had HUGE hopes for, with it' s cyberpunk Splinter Cell in space stylings, awesome visuals and great cutscenes. It would have been great, that i' m sure of.

I can' t believe after putting together some killer trailers and what seems to be a nice next-gen engine that they decided to scrap it and start over making it completely different.

even if it looks great they may had the same kind of problems bungie had while developing halo2 where the engine looked great on trailer form but had some huge flaws on in-game experience

HANG ON JUST A MINUTE!!!!

It would seem that the engine, the main character and his suit and the general premise have NOT been changed, only the setting and date.

It' s no longer set in the future or in space (shame!), it' s instead set in 201X and in a fictional Solviet bloc country.

bio-weapons are no longer science experiments, but a hellish nightmare let loose on an unsuspecting populace

It' s also still a 3rd person action/stealth game (YAY!) and the cool morphing suit it still in there (YAY!). This could still be WAY cool!

Never mind..

Jeez majik ...U scared me back there when u told that the whole game is goin to be redesigned..The game looked AWESOME...If i m not mistaken this was the first announced nxt gen title...The premise of the game also sounded interesting..wonder why they changed it ???
