Thats a shame. But I recommend it. Tho th emove list isnt as grand as Tony Hawk it certainly looks and controls so much better and has a challenge/reward factor thats lost on TH simplicity. It may be more sim based but you can still pull off some amazing and unreal things.

Really? You don' t like?

I couldn' t get over the fixed camera in skate. It felt like I was struggling with the abysmal camera angle more than I was performing the tricks. At times it would ride so low to the ground that your depth perception got thrown off, making it difficult to hit rails and ledges properly.

The camera in skate is meant to focus on the board so you can see what the character is actually doing added a greater sense of realism. I haven' t really gotten into a skating game since THPS2. All the tony Hawks started going down hill after tha imo. Skate was the first game that actually got my back into that genre. I didn' t buy the game but I played my roommate' s copy until I moved out. I thought Project 8 paled in comparison which he also had.

I' m not saying skate is bad. It certainly wasn' t for me, and while I felt that it did some things right, there were enough steps backwards in certain areas to make me not want to purchase it.

Not to mention, there' s a relatively large THPS glitch scene, and I rather like glitching.

50 Euro? Thats gotta be what, at least $85 lol.

All joking aside, the dev is lazy. Its not like SKATE pushes either console. So yes, for 50 Euro yo CAN and SHOULD complain.

Problem with buying skate IS, the game is great and all, and has lots of stuff U can buy in it. However, the demo is free, and includes every move you can do in the game, as well as the biggest, bestest, skating area of the game. However, sure, there is the tutorial beginning and all, but still. This is one time I think they let me try too much in the demo.

I never thought of that. I set one up and downloaded the demo. The game is good, the controls are great but I have to agree with Eddie on the camera. I found it difficult at times to see what was ahead of me. I' m just soo used to the Tony Hawk games that I found it hard to get used to the game. If its cheap I will pick it up but I wouldn' t pay full price for it.
