End of polygons and geometry bottleneck - Aug 02, 2011 04:30

This type of technology changes everything.  That's assuming this technique will work when everything is animated.  They do talk about this as being applicable to videogames but we'll have to wait and see if this is all hype.  In terms of graphics this software would be like pushing everything 50 years in the future.

Impressive level of detail, the lighting looks terrible though.  It will be interesting to see how this turns out when they get everything working.
