.... I would say the ps3 version probably looks and plays like the 360 versions of 06 and 07. From what Ive heard of 08, it should be bearable if they do what they say they are doing and do it correctly.

The question is, why is 60fps such a big deal for lame sports games? I can see real football & basketball outside with far more than 30 frames-per-second. Why the big deal? In my opinion, the only games that benefit (in gameplay) from 60fps are fighters, racers & online shooters. The rest are more than tolerable at 30.
