Hmmm my brothers live in Sweden.

You guys are responsible for almost all the " hits" which I prefer to call crap on the radio.

You had Abba.

You always or as good as always end Abba rip-offs to the Eurovision.

I can understand a big part of your language if I try cause it resembles my flemish rather well.

Sweden has had a lot of good metal bands...that' s about it I think.

Ace of Base was another Swedish import. Although I think they only had one hit.

It' s funny how no one mentions the Nobel price or the celebration of Carl Von Linné.
Or videogame related things like Starbreeze, SimBin and Digital illusions (DICE)
Other companies most people remember are Volvo, Saab, Ericsson,

In music we have The Hives, The Cardigans and a couple of other shit bands I never listen to. Ultima Thule.....

Zlatan Ibrahimović is some damn immigrant who' s a big soccer star, and we have some NHL stars like Mats Sundin, Peter Forsberg and so on.

What surprices me most is that no one has said that we have polar bears on our streets. We don' t but most people seem to believe that

You mean how we celebrate the national day? I have never thought of that, better ask Quez...
People do it different but I think most people don' t celebrate at all.
The ones who do celebrate usually put up flags and stuff and the royal family does some ceremonial things that many likes to watch on TV. Other than that it' s kinda random like going on a picnic and stuff.
And then there' s the political side of things. Apart from the normal parties there' s also the stupid pure blooded white nazi' s that like to demonstrate and of course some idiot communists wants to demonstrate against them and fight and so on. But the police usually manages to keep things relatively calm by spearating the groups.
Just until recently the day was a regular day but we just made it a " red" day in the calendar meaning that everyone gets a day off from work

We don' t do anything big like in the U.S because it' s not like anything special happened recently this date. Most countries celebrate the day they became free from Hitler and stuff and you americans celebrate your independency which is kinda cool. Those things mean much today and people have strong feelings about those dates.
Our national day is based on the day Gustav Vasa was chosen as king... BACK IN 1523!!! I mean, who cares about 1523!??! It' s like 500 years ago!!
Also, we decided how the government was going to work, the same date but in 1809.
Kinda boring stuff really. The norwegians celebrate their national day much more than us swedes because they got invaded by Hitler. We swedes didn' t because we sucked up to him... tehehehe.... Majik is jewish.... lol.
