No he just says that since they work on virtua fighter,shenmue online will be worken on at 2006.

On the Dorimaga interview it looks like he' s talking about Shenmue Online but in the French one here

his new team and his plans for the future , because actually we don,t know
anything about his plans for the Next Gen , we only know the arcade game
named PSY PHI and the MMO RPG game Shenmue Online .
also we want to know about the world wide release of Shenmue Online and
the future of Shenmue series .............. more over if there is a chance for
releasing the brilliant game PSY PHY for Next Gen console

Man the ending of 2 just surprised the hell out of me. All of a sudden all of this magical stuff when the rest of it seemed so non magical and you thought it was just all myth and stuff.
