You gonna have to enter their site to read the review-.

But here is a small thing written from it.

Uppers
- Beautiful, dreamy visuals. Looks like warm milk
- Sounds like a classic FF game
- Finely balanced gameplay
- Huge challenge spread over three DVDs
- Downloadable items due in the coming months

Downers
- Not out in the UK just yet
- Not even announced for the UK yet

oh ps!

Blue Dragon runs in 1080p (if you have the pricey kit), but even in 720p (the not-quite-so-pricey kit we' re playing on) it looks good enough to give our retinas an anatomy-defying orgasm.

" Blue Dragon' s pedigree - Toriyama' s artwork, Sakaguchi' s design, and music from Nobuo Uematsu (aka Final Fantasy soundtrack composer extraordinaire) - is almost tangible. The game reeks of class."

" Blue Dragon finds the perfect balance between linearity and excessive freedom - it doesn' t embarrass you by holding your hand, and yet it doesn' t just leave you alone crying in the supermarket. Hironobu Sakaguchi (the FF creator and Blue Dragon mastermind) is as good a parent as Shigeru Miyamoto. "

I told you guys beofre they used 1080p cgi which made the game take 3 dvd disc.

BD is one of the first games basically to use 1080p for 360.

Seriously, this is going to be over 3 discs? I know that happened back in the day, but was there even any multiple disc games for PS2 or Xbox?

And do you even need 3 discs when a game the size of Oblivion is on one? Or is because of all the CG cut-scenes?

Y~up!

They COULD have used the actual in-game engine more, considering most people can' t tell the differences between when the game is moving and when it' s a rendered cinema.

But you lose some of the punch in scenes when the characters are staring into space and hardly blinking

No, I meant that you can' t expect a static ' sprite' animation to ' emote' unless you give it the animations to do so.

That might mean lots of redundant animations coded into the sprite animation, so a fully rendered cutscene is chosen.
