So, what' s keeping you guys from importing? It' s not convenient, but Dualshock PS3 controllers work with EU models, don' t they? It' s not like it' s an actual software issue.

Don' t worry my man you guys will get it soon. It does suck that you guys have to wait so long for every thing .

Like Eddie said just import one if you dont wanna wait. Its the same system.

For some reason, I thought these came out months ago. What on Earth could be taking so long?

There' s the logistics behind anything new being launched, and I can imagine it' d take longer to amass reasonable enough stock to launch in the EU and US... but when we get right down to it, it' s probably just Japan getting a Japanese company' s game first, and Europe getting fu.cked. Not like they shouldn' t expect it by now.

If you were Sony, wouldn' t you try and sell all those SIXAXIS controllers still stockpiled before you sent out the new model that everyone would purchase instead? Why do you think they didn' t offer any in NA over the holidays when Japan had one? It isn' t because of production, a controller is easy as hell to make, and they sure as heck could have made enough to support the demand.

I use a Japanese one for my US PS3.


If you were Sony, wouldn' t you try and sell all those SIXAXIS controllers still stockpiled before you sent out the new model that everyone would purchase instead? Dont think everyone will get a DS3. SixAxis controllers still sell well. If someone is buying a couple of controllers to play with his friends on weekends he can just pick SixAxis ones and save some money.

If he can find them. They' ve ceaced production of SixAxis controllers. They' ll be restocking with DualShock 3.

Do you notice reduced battery life with DS3, compared to SIXAXIS?

I find the battery more or less the same.

the only thing I want is Rock Band, now THATS a delay.
