I thought this was a joke when I saw the name of the thread.....[:' (] Nintendo have already made a farce of the Mario series by fucking releasing all those damn Sports games! Now they are going to do the same to Zelda with shit like this. Why don' t they release a new Duck Hunt for the Zapper? Not this shit.

So do you get to wonder around places like an actual zelda game or is it something where you just stand still and shoot at random targets?

This is going to be cool and a must buy for me. So far i know there are three modes:

A virtua cop-style mode. Camera automatically pans around a map for you to shoot random or scrpted Targets. Includes Big Bosses ETC.

A free roaming FPS or Third Person Mode Move Link with nunchuck and aim n shoot with Zapper. will include simple RPG elements / exploration.

' Static screen' duckhunt style mode shoot pop-up' s and incoming targets to beat your hightest scores.

Basically, Link' s: CBT is show off what the Zapper can do, not only to the player but also to other developers. It will include loads of cool little features and new ideas.

Expect loads of Great Zapper games after ' Link' s Crossbow Training' s success.

Why don' t they release a new Duck Hunt for the Zapper? Not this shit.

Probably because they thought that people would' ve complained that they didn' t create something new instead. I assume that they thought that the audience would appreciate a mini game set in the Zelda universe over other things.

I remember when I could point a plastic gun at the TV screen, pull the trigger and shoot. It' d even shoot where I was aiming it, too! Wow. Now we must have a crosshair onscreen at all times and that crosshair is certainly not where we are pointing... especially if you have a big TV. The Wiimote is less advanced than a real NES Zapper (which sucked compared to the Light Phaser) for this type of stuff.

I just watched the trailer and it looks terrible. There were better $20 games for the light gun on the ps2, and I thought even those were crappy.

It' s a crying shame that people actually think that this stuff is any good. Nintendo is just shaming themselves with this crap IMO. If it wasn' t for Galaxy coming out, I would write the Wii off as a complete waste of time, space and money.
