CoD2 is a year old. It was also game of the year. Resistance will be going up against CoD3, and because CoD3 is multi-platform it' ll easily outsell Resistance.

Resistance however looks superb. It' s definately come a long way since we first saw it and there isn' t another PS3 title that looks that good. It' ll only sell in the US though as the Japanese don' t like 1st person shooters (in general) and then when it hits Europe in March it' ll be in direct competition with Halo 3 -- so that' ll be interesting to watch.

Insomniac have done a great job on their first serious game since Disruptor, and their first next-gen title. Now, as long as they leave fucking Ratchet & Crank alone for good and work on a sequel to Resistance (it IS called ' Fall of Man' -- leading you to believe that the story doesn' t finish in this game) then i' ll be happy.



I love the way the enemies jump on you and bit your neck. I always wanted an AvP game that looked like that!

It' ll be there on day one.

Risistance level of visual is up-most impressive, of course because of the mighty 22GB of storage it uses on the Blue-Ray, and with that much space usage adding massive enviorment in a level will keep the gameplay running. Indeed this game is a must in the launch list.

It' s a decent game. I played it at E3. Felt exactly like CoD2 just with aliens. Up close the graphics are pretty much on par with what I' ve seen of CoD3. I' d like to play the full version when it comes out but the E3 demo didn' t have me hooked.

...i don' t get why people keep comparing Resistance to COD...

....even though it' s set just after WWII, it' s still an alternative reality... ...at it' s heart, this title is pure sci-fi shooter in the Half-life/Halo mould...

...which is good because i can' t stand WWII shooters anyway... ....if this game doesn' t EASILY pwan COD3, i' ll eat my mask.....

With Gears and this game lookin so good I wouldn' t be surprised if Killzone actually delivers the graphics they showed at the infamous E3 conference.

VERY true.

I wonder how Halo 3 will look...

I wouldn' t expect H3 to be a big visual shocker.

Halo games have some visual problems

1.Humans look like shit in every Halo game
2.Master Chief moves like robot in cutscenes and stands like a fag.

Beside this two , the main problem with Halos is that those games rarely push visuals beyond " very good" .I mean, this game is so loud that it should be the best looking game for it' s platform - yet it' s always far from it.
