Made the morning news I did... - Oct 20, 2007 07:35
Who' s that tall debonair lad three rows back you ask? Why it' s Eddie of course! He woke up at 5:20 today to cheer on his Senior football team against their cross-town rivals, the Rockets! His school spirit is full to the brim & he' s just itching to share it with Channel 4 news!

Wait...

I just remembered...

I couldn' t care less about football.

However, on word from the superintendent himself, every student who attended this newscast before classes began would receive a substantial amount of extra credit. So there I found myself at 6:10am, pretending to cheer for a bunch of Creotene-popping ass-clowns with 5th grade reading levels.

Now don' t get me wrong, I have nothing against well-built people. I' m not ripped or anything, but I can certainly hold my own. Nor am I against showing the occasional bout of school spirit, but this many big stupid people cheering for a sport that encourages organized grab-ass, in a place that they can' t stand, for a news station they don' t watch just doesn' t make a whole lot of sense to me.

Are people really this dumb everywhere else?

Edit: Photobucket doesn' t like screencapping embedded WMAs, so you' ll have to take me on my word that I was at the event in question.
