Tales of Vesperia!!! - Dec 26, 2007 03:59
http://www.gamersyde.com/stream_5757_en.aspx

Probably for 360+ps3 since... xboxy wrote this

" Looks like the source of the game' s page on Namco' s site had some interesting indications, since it had Xbox 360 listed in the keywords. Not an official confirmation, but still something."

Now we all know Tales of - is a succesful jrpg franchise, and this one looks what I hoped for,it seems like its 3d now in the combat, the visual has a nice anime look in HD too.

Yes its not a wii game since the gameplay footage is in 720p.

When coming up with their rpg names I think namco just makes up random shit and add an " -ia" at the end of it to make it sound good.

At least they' re a little more imaginative than Square-Enix who simply adds +1 to the previous title.

A title doesn' t need to be imaginative, it has to be coherent.

I think Tales of Destiny XII (Example) would sound better than Tales of Vesperia.

With their recent titles, I don' t even know wtf they' re supposed to mean, tales of eternia, tales of symponia? now vesperia? wtf?

People would think tales of symphonia is a music game, because the word comes from symphony.

Why does the name matter? Half the time the title has absolutely no relation to the actual game anyway.

I think the reason they have different names instead of numbers for each title is because they take place in completely different universes. And when they do make a game that takes place in the same universe they keep the name and add a number. Like Tales of Symphonia 2.

Yeah. The PSP one, I don' t remember the name, I think it might be Eternia, has characters from all the other games, so unless there is some sort of warped up dimension traveling involved, they are all in the same universe. At least in that game.

I find " tales of" battle system to be the best ever made in a RPG.

It use strategy in terms of A.I behavior, and what team you use and you can anytime pause and give out orders in terms of skills or magic to use if your in need of that service+you can throw potions anytime in the pause, reflexs plays a part in it too and it makes for a very addictive combat system for the main character that you control over, were you frequently have to block, jump and attack or better - do awesome combos for massive damage.

And obviously it let you do special combo attacks with other characters.
So people who doesnt " get it" in terms of " strategy and tactics" for their A.I could still easily be victorious by being a skilled 2d (now it looks like 3d though) fighter, thats right you alone with your main character could potential take care of the bosses if you jump over them and slash them from behind and block & attack at the right time.
Likewise someone who is bad at timing blocks and doing combos could still be victorious by drawing out the maxium potential in his A.I characters.

Apparently a staff member working on Tales of Vergia wrote that its a xbox 360 game.

Sequel to " Tales of" secured for 360.

Ginjirou you happy?

You know Quez, if you remove the " I" from " Vergia" , you' re left with " Verga" , which means " penis" in Spanish. Just figured I let you know that

Are you multilingual, or did you purposefully look up male genetalia in an english-spanish dictionary?

Now how would I even remotely know what the word for the male organ looks like in Spanish if I didn' t know the language?

Edit: Actually, verga would be the equivalent of dick. Pene would be penis. But enough about that
