Great. Try worrying about it in the original Shenmue 3 thread!

I can personally confirm that Adam is one of the biggest Sega/AM2 fanboys on the net. I' m certain he did a lot of research before posting the article. And remember, the article doesn' t confirm Shenmue 3 is in production, it only proves Sega hasn' t been sitting on their fingers since Shenmue 2.

I think they have the game done, but gonna ask around.
Its like with sakaguchi, some thought he would leave buisness forever.
Then he asked MS about making two project,we never knew.
If its coming they wont announce it before themself from SEGA made it official.
They declined eurogamer for a comment.
When they asked about this kikizo news to the SEGA pr guy,he said:" no comments."
Now why did he do that?
Probably because he know there is a chance it coming,or its coming.
And if you let gamingsites be the first ones who come up with announcments, and not those gaing companies they gonna feel like something is wrong-...

I wonder if your worry has anything to do with Lamespots Heartbreaker story on Shenmue 3, if that is the case you should read Adam' s response below:

I think they have the ELEMENTS for the game, meaning the stuff they will scan for the textures, maybe some 3D models built, complete design for the areas, and who knows maybe even some music. But I don' t think any game programming code has been written yet.

Did you guys even read the article I referred to? lol

Same author, same developer, same situation.

Hell, you could almost take it word-for-word. But... Sega Rally 3 never saw the light of day, did it? Even though like Shenmue 3, it was " ready to ship" .

Just saying. I' d be happier than anyone else if it does come out, but obviously there have been issues with these anonymous sources in the past, so I don' t see why they should be trusted once more.

we' ve already discussed Sega Rally 3 in another thread. It seems like Sega is really pushing Next Gen. that' s supposed to be a next gen title aswell.
