They tricked me into buying a Ps3 saying MGS4 would be released so soon (not really, but U get my point), and now it delay after delay.
I do however prefer a polished game, before a rushed one, but I cannot help but feel they announced the early release of MGS4 just to boost sales of the console.
Otherwise, any chance this could have something to do with MGS Theme being accused of plagiarism?

I also think that this was done to boost sales. I didn' t know that about the theme though. It' s a great theme of course. On the other hand, there aren' t that many notes and someone will always hear something alike in other songs. Very often they don' t look at the whole context then but pick only one melody.

They do this all the time with big titles. They announce a game before the end of a fiscal quarter to protect their stock, then at the last minute they push it back to when they they actually intend to release the game.

How can you be disapointed? they never said March, early 2008, anmd its still on track.
Lol, but it sucks for Konami becuase their shares took the biggest fall since 1998 because of this small delay.
I hear the japs are getting it first though, so much for worldwide realase!
