Enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8XBgzNu2WY&feature=Views&page=2&t=t&f=b

It' s kind of old but, since the latest cod3 thing we saw on this forum was from majiks scans,i thought this in game videos would be cool.

Ofc this is not the e3 thing.

the one thing that really threw me off is in the footage is at about the 1min30sec mark, you see a guy running straight at a low wall before realising he can' t go through it, and he turns finally, and runs down the path. I know it' s not done, but that kinda reflects on the finished AI.

Well, now we all know for sure that even in HI-DEF that gun model looks excatly as what Majik showed in his scan.

My point is that if he hasn' t then how can he comment on the subject. If he has then how can he comment on a video that shows very little of the varying gameplay found in the titles.

BIA3 Looks a little cartoony in the e3 video, I think I prefer COD series.

If they take gameplay as well as graphics forward will be every bit as kewl as COD2

- and I' m not even a fan or war games, it is just highly polished series!

hold on, bia ' cartoony' ? you mean cod is cartoony, not bia, its an realisitc [enough] ww2 fps.

Cod is those ' one man armys' that I allways play as.

Infact I think those games are based on me.

you know

One man Army.

And so forth.

I am seriously getting sick of WWII games.

CoD2 was/is an absolutely AWESOME game and CoD3 will be even better, but the BiA series has seriously impressed me so far. The 3rd game has me really interested.

I can kinda see where Andy is coming from, and the CoD games have been more " gritty" , but the team mechanics and storyline in the BiA games could win me over. The only issue i have with both of the previous BiA games is the dodgy weapon accuracy (read: the enemies hitboxes). Kinda reminds me of CS:S.

Anyhoo, Bomber is right, the whole one man army thing is getting tiresome. We' re at the point now where games CAN be realistic and in some contexts (say completley fictional futuristic games) it' s called for, but in games based on " real events" and happenings (like WWII -- which being Jewish i probably take more interest in than most) then " realism" is called for, and no one man or nation won that war.

I think Maj is right, he' s sussed where I thought i was comming from - but maybe wasnt.

I have a limited palette for WW2 games, but maybe BIA3 / COD3 are the only two games I will need. Having only played a little of the first BIA, maybe I didn' t give it enough time! I quite like the one man against the world feel of COD2.

I think everyone will get sick of the squad based combat in a few years to come. We arn' t all born to be generals, and there is alot to be said for being a grunt every now and then.

*edit* Just checked the trailer for BIA3 - I stand corrected. Almost completely in fact. Bring the demo to me. I demand a playtest...

Of course none of this affects my newly found ninja powers - which I alone plan to use with COD2 online just shortly!

Tiz has added me, I' m away this weekend. Add me! My GT is b0mb3rMaN !!

My fave WWII movies include Schindler' s List, The Pianist, A Bridge Too Far, Enemy at the Gates etc. WWII is a rich subject and it' d be refreshing if there was a WWII game that had more depth to it these days. BiA' s characters were just a start imo.

Saving Private Ryan on the other hand are what most WWII shooters like CoD try to emulate. Although it did have some good scenes, the non-stop action from the Omaha Beach scene is all we get in the games. I mean it was amazing when Medal of Honour 1 did it for the first time, but we can move on now.

It' d be easy to make a refreshingly new WWII game with more depth, but I wonder how many people would buy it..
