 LW and Doom III

As a Lightwave evangelist I found much joy is this finding from the Doom III - Legacy movie downloadable from this site.

The image quality is a bit fuzzy but there is no question; the character models for Doom III are made using Lightwave 3D. Jay!!! What can I say; when it comes to modelling LW beats 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage and all others easily!

Not that much, and mainly for modeling. LW is a great tool for low polygon count modelling for games and demos, especially demos intended for ancient Atari machines with nly 16MHz to spare :)
