I picked up a new mobo via NewEgg, & the RAM was a gift from a friend, but my previous box ran SD, so I was SOL until built this. It' s not amazing, but I was really sick of the POS I had earlier. I no longer have to deal with 128MB of ram.[:' (]

I' m running WinXP Black, & so far I' m pretty satisfied. It' s got most of the stuff I like about Vista (standard widget bar & sweet skinning) with most of the stuff I don' t hate about XP (most being the operative word). Now if only I can do something about my connection. I' m most likely ditching my DSL & moving to cable, but I still haven' t decided if it' s going to be worth it or not. I don' t download enormous files anymore, but I do like faster load-pages, so I guess I' ll see.
