Curiosity of what came before... - Jul 31, 2006 17:15
I decided to click that little tab their that says last post so that itd give me a reverse order of posts. Then I started reading the posts and holy shit was their some interesting things as to how things have changed.

For instance I didnt even remember it but we apparently knew about the 2 different ps3 models since early 2004! I firggin posted a link...wonder how that got so easily forgotten.

Anyways give it try and stuff find out who was right and who was wrong. Who were the true prophets here on kikizo.

BUT PLEASE DONT DIG UP AND REVIVE VERY OLD THREADS. Just link stuff that you find interesting into this thread.

EDIT: O ya heres the link btw about 2 different PS3s and how it was sort of right: http://games.kikizo.com/news/200404/013.asp

Ok, looking back, I will list the things I find:

Threads barely went over 5 pages..

Shenmue III was rumoured to be coming out for the X-box, and people have
been wishing for it for ages..

Terry in actual fact does not like Ninja Gaiden!

Arcade action = YAY!

Exploration = NAY!

The nays have it. I was with the game until it turned into a Ninja version of Onimusha. I wanna be pummeling enemies non-stop from here to kingdom come, not looking for stuff, lol.

Amazing looking game however, great sound effects, but so far disappointing music. Should be worth a rental though.

Killzon rumours date back to 2004:

This game looks amazing! Here are some of the rumours I have heard about it:

- 16 Players via PS2 network adapter
- 60fps smooth gameplay
- 25 weapons - including about 5 turret weapons
- Set about 100 years in the future
- Pushes the PS2 CPU to it' s limit
- Amazing AI
- 30-60fps on broadband with 16 players
- HUGE maps
- I have heard that they are introducing a never-before-seen gameplay feature called ' Killzone' by the magazines, that remains very mysterious to the media.

Does anyone have any more rumours? Or maybe you have validation for some of the rumours? Whatever, I want to know!

Actually, Terry likes Ninja Gaiden, just wants it to be harder..

SEGA LIKES TO INNOVATE TOO!!!!

Tokyo, Mar 10, 2004 (JCN) - Magical VEngine is a real-time voice analysis tool that can work closely with facial animations to produce realistic mouth movements based on the emotions and feelings of an animation character.

Conventional voice animation technology reproduces mainly the vowel movements of the mouth, but Sega' s new technology can produce the consonants for a greater range of expressions. Magical VEngine drastically reduces processing time, enabling stress-free and efficient production of voice animation.
Sega plans to use Magical VEngine in interactive entertainment in the future.

Ahhh....

Erkh...I' m bored now..

You can come play with me and Evil Man in other various threads.

Its oddly interesting to read thru some of that stuff to see what people speculated and how accurate it was.
