Capcom USA Declined RE Zero for Wii - Jun 10, 2008 08:07
Company cites low sales, lukewarm reception for deciding against U.S. version.

According to 1up.com

Capcom' s message board (via CVG) provides some insight. Capcom VP of strategic planning Christian Svensson said that while the decision isn' t final, they have " been asked twice if we' ve wanted to bring it Westward and twice we' ve declined." He cites low sales of the original and general fan disinterest as reasons behind the move. " There' s thousands of used copies on Ebay and at Gamestop," he says, " and given the outcry against the project when Japan announced it on these boards and others, it' s pretty obvious that it' s not wanted by gamers here."

That blows!

Zero was decent but the feature of allowing you to drop an item at anytime was retarted. It seems like a great idea at first but you quickly realise that the old system of having an item box to store your items in was miles better. If you dropped an item at the start of the game you would have to backtrack the whole way to pick it up again whereas with the item boxs you could collect it at any item box throughout the game. Apart from that it was a very good Resi game. The leech zombies were badass!
