Produce a film for a book - Feb 24, 2003 18:29
Simple, choose a book you would like to see made into a film. Select the cast and the people making it.

Book: Survivor (by Chuck Palahnuik)

Cast:
Tender Branson- Edward Norton
Adam Branson- Kevin Spacey
Fertility- Naomi Watts
Agent- Christian Bale
Caseworker- Tammy Fae Baker

Director: David Fincher or Brett Ratner

Screenplay Writer: Mike Judge

Score: Jerry Goldsmith

Cool idea for a thread. We decided to merge the Filmmakers Forums into the general movie forum, probably the sensible thing to do... I' ve got a couple of friends who would probably have some cool idas on this one. I' ll let them know.

Does it have to be based on a book though? It would be interesting to know how many Kikizo users actually read books... perhaps we could just come up with the film idea, and then fill in all the criteria you list.

If your ideas are too good though you might want to save them to someone who' d pay you for the premise / script! [hint hint].

I' m not too anal about what people pick for a subject to produce. Reproduce an old movie or maybe a comic book.

Anyways, I highly doubt anyone would want any of my ideas. I did have a good one for Resident Evil Online, though. Anyways, I' ll remember that.
