Restart your computer and press F9 a bunch of times so you can start in safe mode. Then go in and delete it then restart in normal mode.

I had some problems with removing video files.
But thanks to a program Majik recommended I have no problems anymore.
Read more about it in THIS THREAD
Or get the program right away at:

You have a self-sufficient porn-game emulator? Try applying a .22 longrifle to the part on your hard-drive that sounds the noisiest.

...

Or you could listen to these guys.

If you already know what the file is then yes start the machine in safe mode, by pressing F8 after the POST (The screen that shows disc sizes etc.) If you are set as an admin login and remove said file.

If you don' t recognise the file then update your anti virus and scan the file, if it is something untoward then your virus software will deal with it. If it doesn' t then use the above steps.

moveonboot is easier. Once it' s installed, just right-click on the evil file and choose " delete file on the next boot" .
The next time you restart your computer the file will be gone! Like magic!
No safe mode, no DOS, no worries.

furry muff, not come across that peice of software, is it shareware or freeware? Thanks for the tip ginjirou.
I was just making a point that you should use f8 and not f9 to get into safe mode, as I am sure f9 on reboot blows the PC up or transports you back to win 3.1.

You can find anything in Vista if you can get past the fact that " My Computer" has been obliterated from the face of spacetime.[:' (]

Oh, and by the way, you get a " Demerit" if you find 3.1.

Yeah anyone know why they changed it from " My Computer" to just " Computer" .

I must say that Vista is ok, nothing special, but I see that XP is already in it' s final death throes, no more XP machines after Jan 31st 2008.

I hate the way that Vista dosent like ANY demo' s. I have to yet try out a pc game demo that runs right on Vista.

And i dont get directx 10, I had to install directx9 to play my games. Not that I want directx 10 anyway.
