A few people i know are taking up bets for NFL Europe League and iv never really watched Europe league, so i was wondering if anyone could give me team recommendations to choose. I was thinking either Frankfurt Galaxy or Hamburg Sea Devils.

I remember years ago that there was a team called the Claymores (Funny enough from scotland.) and there was a london team but can' t remember their moniker, there was a rumour at the time that William " The Fridge" Perry was going to play, but it never panned out.
Why does it always have to be American Football? Why can they not start a European Baseball league and then the Euro winners, the jap winners and the US winners could then play a real world series.

From what has been shown on Sky it looks like the Frankfurt Galaxy are the team to beat.

You guys don' t like American football? It' s like the RTS of contact sports!

As for rugby, I' ve tried to watch it. It looks cool but I can' t figure out what the hell is going on. I understand it' s popular among men and muscular lesbians.

I finally figured out what' s happening in cricket, so that was a big accomplishment. Although I must say I think it' s pretty brutal and coldhearted that you can apparently just intentionally deck somebody with the ball and receive polite applause for it.

True, but im addicted and crazy about carolina panthers, and not to mention i love to gamble on the games ... Iv gambled every super bowl since 38 and iv made around $200 and lost around $75 so i thought id go ahead and make a few small bets on the Euro league.

American football is stupid.

If the Wii was only capable of 480i, it would have to be deinterlace it. - Emotep

It is like american soccer, except that some of the 3rd and 4th string players from the NFl come over for a season to get experience.

If you want a decent bet, then try the Grand National, you can either bet on the winner, how many horses will fall, how many will be shot and I think you can bet on which Kebab shops will get the horse meat...Only joking on the last 2 but you get the picture. If your interested the race course is Aintree and the start time is 3:45 on Saturday (tomorrow 14th April)

I don' t see the appeal of your American sports, Baseball and the like are so boring.

At least soccer is a small bit watchable.

I don' t see the appeal of any sport that invovles a ball or a team.

No, I didn' t mean that I cared for everything else. I only meant that I especially detested team sports and anything involving a ball. One thing I like to watch and occassionally practice with friends is Boxing. UFC has it' s moments as well (I can settle for replays though) most of it is boring. Besides those two I' ll watch individual sports in the Olympics. The Sprinting and Triathalons can hold my interest.

Playing with a ball is for children, I' ll never get what' s so fascinating about seeing grown men play such sports. That' s just me though. I guess I can see the appeal of going to a European Football game with the possible prospect of a riot.

Amercian Football is boring to watch, and to play and you just feel dumb watching it, there' s nothing impressive about it.

I' ve never played American football for fun, the only times I ever played it was when I was in school and they forced me to play or took points of for not participating. It' s just not me to run around like a moron launching my entire body against someone to tackle them down, football is for savages.
