Pity the pics are a little too small to appreciate any sort of detail. No doubt they' d look amazing in HD.

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

But....it' s... turn-based!

Wake up,so is FF13 and basically 9 of 10 rpg' s i could care less.

I play for story-character,and i sometimes have a blast with turn-based fighting system, also ut sounds worng with " turn based" use haste + slow and you may get a lot more attacks on the boss before he will react

O...k, it' s not free movement then..

This game is a movie to me until I see the second part of his battle system, and
if it' s still turn-based, I' ll let my brother buy it, and then I will watch.

Well, turn based strategy is the reason I go out and buy a JRPG. It' s what makes them unique and interesting in my books. Western RPG' s are all realtime so I get plenty of that usually.

So it' s turn based. Good. Not sure why some people have their panties in a bunch over it. Quite often turn based strategy requires a little more thought, whereas realtime tends to turn into a mindless button mashing after a while.

Yeah, I' m with Unlucy on turnbased being a reason to buy a jrpg. That' s what they are known for. That' s why people buy them. I' m extremely excited about this game and those pics make the wait that much harder.

i really agree with you unlucky, however the downside of most JRPG are the random encounters that are soo frequent in most rpg' s.. soem game managed to keep the turn based aspect but stil showing the enemies, and that creates a very interesting combat system... what comes in mind now is grandia 2 and in a way final fa,ntasy 12.

I wish they' d show the dragon/behemoth thing from the first trailer

Scratch that, I want to see that cool looking gear-airship in motion! Seems there' s one scene where it goes through the clouds! I want to see how amazing that looks

Shouldn' t we take things one step at a time, and take our heads out of the clouds
for a second (no pun intended, unless you want one), and wait to see actual
amazing gameplay that' s not just turn-based??
