The game just came out in North America and it' s getting some pretty crappy reviews. GameSpot and IGN both gave it a 5.4. Is it out in the UK? I like to see Kikizo' s review.

EGM/1up - 8.5
other(unknown) - 7.8

I have a feeling it' s one them games with very mixed reveiws once all the scores start coming up. PS mags have been giving it above 7. Its not the greatest score but pretty good. Ima give it a few more days tho.

I knew this game would end up going either way, I was just really hoping it was going to be very good. This is gonna be another rent-and-burn title I guess

Then I hope you' re buying it for the PS2 because I hear that has the least amount of bugs (still buggy, just not as bad as the X-Box version).

I' m not sure what to think yet. I' m starting to give up on reviews. Whenever I read a really bad review for a very hyped up game, I normally side with the review. Then, when sometime down the road I play a game that received a bad review, I notice that the reviewer just sucked at the game.

GTA Vice City for XBOX is the buggiest game ever made. Its basically unplayable but IGN and Gamespot gave it a 9.6.

I got my copy today(XBOX).

From playing it i say its not as buggy as those websites are claiming it to be.

The XBOX version supports Custom Soundtracks and u can upload replays to live.

You want a non-buggy game? Play it on the system it was originally made for three years ago. You know, back when I played it.

A friend who loves the driver games told me that the AI is VERY BAD, I was shooting someone' s hand from behind a wall, and they didnt move. After a few shots they died!

While in the car the game is as fun as the past 2, but all out of car gameplay is very poor.

Finally for those on Xbox Live, Download the #1 Replay, it' s hilarious!

DRIV3R is a really good game.

While in the car the game is as fun as the past 2, but all out of car gameplay is very poor

The gameplay while driving is fun(same as the original driver) but its really fun running around shooting people as well.

Then I hope you' re buying it for the PS2 because I hear that has the least amount of bugs (still buggy, just not as bad as the X-Box version).

I beat the whole (XBOX version)game and i dint incounter any big bugs.

There is no game that is bug free,so u cant say the game is bad becasue of bugs. This game has the same bugs as GTA for PS2.

What bugs are you referring to? I played that game all the way through and can' t even recall a single bug. The buggiest game I' ve played this generation has to be Beyond Good and Evil. There was actually a bug that made one of my non-controllable characters disapear, whom I needed to get past a certain point in the game. I had to completely restart the game<---well, I say that, but I haven' t actually done it yet as I don' t feel like playing thru the first half of the game again.

In GTA Vice City for XBOX there are buildings sticking out of the road in some places.

Try cruising around the city and u will see what im talking about.

+sometimes my camera changed to 1st person mode and i couldnt jack cars or do anything u just stand there and let the cops kill u.

Ok, I didn' t think there were many bugs in GTAVC either, but there was that degree of arcade-ish gameplay which left a lot of realism from the game....which I think Driv3r picked up on....seems a lot more real to me...mostly due to the driving physics...they' re the best i think i might have seen. So im really just not trying to compare it to GTA at all...i dont think that does anything to help either game IMO.....what i always remind myself: Driv3r = driving/chase game....

my two cents....

The phisics are realistic, the cities look and feel realistic in DRIV3R.IN GTA its like they shrunk the city,In DRIV3R it looks like they are the size of the real city.

I agree RussianMobster....esp about the cities. i like how they didnt go crazy with traffic either, gives me more room to tear around...theres enough to be obstacles, but nothing out of hand. word.

I got the GTA double pack for the xbox two weeks ago and I can' t figure out how either game can be claimed as buggy. GTAVC is just amazing and I haven' t had any problems with it yet.

Woh! Rampage, you been gone for a while. Welcome back

And as for GTA, I also have the double pack for xbox, and the only problem I have is a slightly long loadtime form time to time but then again my Xbox is a release date. It runs nice on my G/Fs. The graphics arnt groundbreaking or nething but thats made up 10 fold by the gameplay.
