moto gp 06
BF2
Cod2
quake4

This game is fun, controls take a bit of getting used to, I' m just going
around the mall taking pictures, and seeing what stores I can go into....

EVERY SINGLE 1!!!!!

What kind of game allows you to do that??

I' ve been bitten about 3 times.. Slowly dying, these Zombies are a lot quicker than
I thought...

Might have to break out an avatar.

I have to say this has to be the funniest, non-violent feeling zombie game iv' e ever played. Unlike condemned it didn' t feel scary or jumpy. And it has it' s funny points. Like zombies waiting on you whilst you change your clothes, zombies shopping, attacking with a cash register, giant teddy bear...etc. It was actually better than I thought, (I thought it was over hpyed before) but I really like it now.

This game is fun, controls take a bit of getting used to

Nah, the controls are perfect. For those that haven' t played it yet, you run in whatever direction you push the analog stick in (like an MGS game), ' A' is jump, ' B' is pick up/action, ' X' is attack (with pressing and holding giving different attacks for melee weapons) and the right trigger is aim.

I had almost expected the aiming to be done on the right stick like in games like Ghost Recon, but i was pleasantly suprised with it being mapped to the left stock, ...just like RE4!!!

You can run and shoot but it works like the older RE games where you have to judge the direction your firing in without a crosshair, and just like RE4 you have to stop to precision aim.

I love the controls and if you' ve played RE4 the aiming here will be 2nd nature.

The demo itself it awesome. You' re shown a cutscene which sets up a mission for you but also shows that this isn' t the start of the game. The cutscene itself is superb with great voice acting and dialogue as well as great animation.

The demo section is the Paradise Plasa section of the mall and probably contains 2 or 3 hundred zombies.

You can pick up and carry any item in the level up to a maximum of 5 (cycling through them with the bumber buttons). You start out with a sledge hammer, a scythe and a shotgun, but some of the zombies have weapons that you can take after you' ve killed them (the police officers particulary as they have nightsticks and handguns) like hunting knives or baseball bats.

Going into the sporting goods store you can grab a golf club or take a skateboard (which you can ride around on!). It' s also worth noting that there' s a female zombie pushing a shopping cart around that you can push through the hordes if you hold ' X' . Everything else from clothes hangers, plant pots, chairs, benches etc can all be used as weapons. The golf club is especially cool as holding down the attack button charges up your attack and allows you to fire golf balls at zombies heads!

The zombies themselves all look very different and it' s not at all like the parts of Kameo and N3 where enemies all look the same, it' s looks far cooler! All of their limbs can be removed and the scythe is uber-awesome as holding attack lets you cut their legs off. The attacks are VERY satisfying and the sledgehammer feels as powerful as it should. The meleee weapons in this game are awesome!

The guns are just as cool and feel as they should. The handgun in the demo packs a punch and the shotgun is obviously good for clearing paths and getting out of desperate situations.

I haven' t actually done the mission yet but i' ve gone to the cinema and seen a cutscene about a demented priest and i' ve been exterminating zombies by every possible means in the main area. This game rocks and i' ll likely have more to say later!

Hey, what' s up with that?

Man, I' m starting to hate you all whom have Live accounts. First people play Lost Planet and now this (not that it' s a game I desire, or anything, but I at least wanted to test it). I' m seriously starting to consider getting a Live account, but then I get flashbacks of ZOE and the MGS2 demo... *sigh* Not that I didn' t like ZOE (it was great) but I cannot escape the fact that I bought a game (expecting it to be crap) only to play a 7 min long demo. Forgive me wallet, forgive me poor people, I am spoiled and I know it, and forgive me god of games for being such fickle gamer, FORGIVE ME WORLD!!!

...So the game was good, huh? That' s nice... Anybody got any spare cash that won' t fit your wallet? Why not donate to the Dionysius Live foundation, dedicated to bring Dionysius to the world of living Live? No I' m not joking! [:' (]

To say the least. Quez has 8Mb ADSL too and he downloads demos far quicker than i do (i only have a 4Mb connection as i live too far from the exchange to recieve 8Mb).

Anything over 2Mb is considered very fast and is ideal for online gaming.

REALLY?!

Let me get this straight; dion, you have broadband but haven' t set up an Xbox Live account yet because you thought you had to pay for it?!

When you copnnect your modem and set up a Live account you' ll automatically get a silver account where you can download all the demos and trailers (none of them cost anything and there are LOADS) and you only have to upgrade to gold to play online.

Actually, if you set up a new account you might even get 1 month free Xbox Live Gold as a new user. Though they may have stopped that now.

Hehe... it just proves I' m not just kidding, when I say I' m stupid . But actually that wasn' t ever the reason that I didn' t set up an Xbox live account. The reason for that is that I was never interrested in playing online, or the other services it provided (before now), thus hearing that it costed to play online I figured the whole online service costed, and thus as I weren' t interersted I didn' t look more into it. Alsas, I am now going into my room, to try to bring my little/big 360 online and join the team.

Well if you set up a Live account and check out the demo' s (of which there are LOADS) and game video' s (since every single one is free) then when i get back from Greece in 2 weeks time i' ll see about getting you an Xbox Live Gold membership (i work in Gamestation remember)

Oh and the Test Drive and Lost Planet demo' s are in the demo' s section with all the others but in the E32006 sub-folder.

I have broadband!

Now all I need is...an actual Xbox 360 [:' (]

The end of the year is in sight, and it' s mooning me in the face!

Sorry, but wow! I want to be in that Zombie Fest! I' ve gotten hooked on zombies ever since the latest issue of Ultimate Fantastic Four (zombie Reed you are hot!)

Ahem...

Okay, but I' m thinking that the Wii could use a game like this! Just use the controller to point (and maybe click) at the thing you want to use, and just SWING/PUSH/CART AWAY!

I snuck out of work for a bit to download it . Pretty dman quick for such size but anways I got to play only a minutes worht til I can seank off again. So far Im satisfied and glad I have this game reserved.

I didnt look at the control scheme so I kept dropping my weapons and could switch over to the scythe :( but I should figure it out in a bit once I get back to it. On;y complaint I have is the camera moves a little slow, but certainly wont affect gameplay. So owell.

Pretty fun. I made the mistake of running towards the cinema right away so it ended rather quickly. I' m not sure exactly what I' m supposed to do in the demoe.

I adore this game. This could easily become one of my favourite games ever. It' s not as serious but when using the guns it feels just like RE4.

Everything from the cutscenes to the locations, enemies, character models are all superb. The blood is so fucking cool!

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you, the next gen Dionysius, now known as EYE am DIONysus... YAY! So after going to the store to buy a wireless internet reciever for the 360 and returning home with a 10 m long ethernet cable (friggin thing costed 799 kroner (thing=wireless reciever)) and hooking it up and spending way to long time registering, I am now a formal member of Xbox Live... Hehe... The somewhat corny gamertag came from my somewhat impatient mind, but it' ll do. I have downloaded and tested Lost Planet, next in line will be Dead Rising, but that' ll have to wait awhile. So yay, everone, and Majik I' ve got great many expectations of you.
