Revolutions Secret? - Apr 17, 2006 04:40
so what do you think the Revolutions secret is?

personally, i reckon behind the ever present but never disclosed flap is... a slot for you to put your credit card in to purchase those amazing retro games from the Virtual Console...

It could be any of the following...

a) Revolution doubles as a cloaking device

b) Revolution is really a small nuclear decice

c) Has a built in toaster

d) Uses smellovision

e) It allows you to jack into the Matrix

f) Turns your livingroom into a holo-deck

We all know Revolution has been built using alien technology...

No, i think you have it mistaken. See, it' s the other way around. If anyone' s going to blatantly rip-off something, (As well as they might rip it off) it' ll be Sony,

Nintendo is a spring of quirky game hardware and software, they don' t need the the Cell Processor to suceed.
Oh no, in fact, they' ve still got their ace in the hole. They' ve got the newest combination in next generation hardware and space-age polymers. Nintendo' s secret is in R and D, and is codenamed the " Cellular Processor" , and all will bow to it' s awesomeness.
The Cellular Processor, a revolutionary (no pun intended) polymer chip capable of making over 2000 long-distance Voip calls per-second, that' s 2000 more than the 360. Therefore, following next-gen hype logic, it must be over 2000 times more powerful than any console on the market.

See, i could work for the marketing division of any major company. All you have to do is use lot' s of syllables, cite a few other " inferior consoles" , and finally, mention space-age polymers. It' s like the clear plastic folder on your fifth grade report on Mad Anthony Wayne. People can' t fault you for it.

Revolution turns into a robot dog...

Shiggy Skywalker?

On a side note, here' s the E3 floorplan. Nintendo has more space than Sony or Microsoft...

Thats because parents gonna leave their kids at that place :P
while visiting SONY/MS booth.
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

Just looking at that e3 floor plan. Something strikes me, why the hell is the womens toliets bigger than the mens!? surely the ratio is going to be somewhat.. uneven? especially with all the booth babes gone.

Because women require toilets even to pee. With guys, they can stack tons of urinals a foot apart from one another. Even with the women' s bathroom being bigger, more pissing guys can probably fit into the men' s restroom simultaneously than pissing women can fit into their room.

Wow, you' re so smart Joe.
Anyway back to topic. Not that this topic has been taken very seriously but whatever, I' m a serious guy .
Revolutions secret has to be something that Sony or Microsoft can' t copy at a short amount of time since Nintendo is really trying to make the Revolution unique and appealing despite its lack of raw power. So I think things like projectors, harddrives, HD-compatibility and so forth are not very likely since Sony or MS could make their own versions of such things very soon after the Revolution launches.

Either gesture recognition or the ability to play DS games via a cartridge slot under the front flap.

Ah, now that' s stuff that might actually be the real secret.
Anyway, it seems we' ll find out the day before E3 when Nintendo holds a conference in the Kodac theater Hollywood.

Maybe not but the toaster would only be an extra. I would be happy with the cloaking device.
