Technically Transformers is anime, especially the movie.

I go with American (that' s right, I can actually type out the entire word) simply because American animated movies ALWAYS seem to have many more frames per second than the dodgy Japanese animated cartoons. Also, almost all Japanese cartoons seem to be drawn in a very similar style, making them, well, NOT unique.

(Also where The Transformers are concerned, the English voice-overs were shockingly MUCH MUCH better than their Japanese counterparts. That' s the first time I' ve EVER seen something like that. Normally Japanese voice overs in games and anime smoke the English, but not in the Transformers.)

Have you not seen a Production IG anime?! They simply are amazing and so fluid I think they go overboard with the frames. That Kill Bill anime sequence was one style they use. You can also see them expand to further styles with FLCL, Samurai Champloo, Animatrix, and Dead Leaves. However, the crap anime that began to emerge here in the US was definatly horrid bad examples...like i said elsehwre they gave anime a bad rap.

Anyways to answer the last This or That. Id have to answer with a question, are you asking about forplay or no forplay with the horse or with another human?

I have to say mainstream, but by mainstream I' m saying anything that sees a wide release. I really like Star Wars, and I really like Memento. I consider both of those mainstream because they have big name production companies backing them in the end.
