What if the Revolution was... - Jun 21, 2005 10:14
that Nintendo had the most powerful console on the market planned, and they' re just messing with us?

i know it' s very very unlikely, infact, near impossible...

but they have the knowledge and the expertise to blow Sony and Microsoft out of the water, now that would truly be a Revolution in my eyes ... :)

Actually I don' t think it as being impossible at all.. Nintendo has understated their specs in the past and Factor 5 proved them wrong with a LAUNCH title that pushed more polygons than Nintendo said the GameCube was capable of. So I expect the Revolution to at least possess some hardware tricks that the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 won' t be able to do as easily.

possibly that the PS3 can' t do, but highly unlikely that the xbox 360 can' t do. Considering the revolution will be using the same type of processor and gpu only not so high end as the 360. The GC used a different GPU than the xbox 1 did, because it used ATI and xbox used NVIDIA, so they each had tricks the other didn' t do. But the NVIDIA chip was a decent sized step ahead of the ATI back then, it is gonna be the opposite for the next gen consoles though.

I' m of the belief that the Revolution will be more powerful in SOME way(s) than the PS3 and Xbox360

I can assure you, it will collect the best dust of the three as there will be no " jaggies " on em ;)

I bet the Revolution will have some fairly powerful fanboys who parade the internet. Hell, they all will. But it will be interesting to examine the fanboy specs. The Revolution fanboys will need higher specs to make up for their lower numbers. Just you watch... you ain' t even seen no aggression yet yo!
