Game Sack - Oct 10, 2011 11:16
OK assholes, I know I will probably only get one or two views from this site, but what the hell, I'm posting this anyway since I've been on Kikizo since before it was conceived. It is my Youtube channel where some other guy and I talk about video games, mostly the older stuff. You'll find some PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii stuff occasionally, but if that is all your world revolves around, then you have been warned.

Here is a link to the channel itself (we have 25 episodes so far):

http://www.youtube.com/user/MrGameSack

Here are some fairly decent episodes that, for whatever reason, I think are somewhat appropriate for the vast Kikizo forum crowd:

Rally Racing Games:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRnam89J0xI

UnderRated: The TurboGrafx-16
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBhK2Gmo32M

Retro Gaming on HDTVs and Video Connections
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip6WuOvK8EU

And our most recent episode, Portable Game Systems:

Put this crap on the main page, Adam!

WTF, I had to write my own HTML code to get those line breaks!

Anyway, we usually release one episode a week.

I LOOOVE Game Sack! I basically indulged in a Game Sack marathon viewing today... And the original Space Harrier is still one of the top 5 greatest games of all time in my opinion. :D

Watched a few videos, nice trip down memory lane, some of these older games I had almost forgotten about, some I never knew of.

I've only watched the "Mario vs Sonic - Which is Best?" episode but it was great. Guess I'll have a look at the others when I get the time

You got me Joe. Never seen or heard of this console. I like the giant laser disc for games. Reminds me of a high tech record player.
Nice find.

Edit: What camera are you using to record the video's. The quality is really good.

Joe that is one serious camera. I just just checked the price well over $ 1200 on amazon.
What is the difference between this camera and the 5D Mark I, II and III versions? They are twice the price as your Canon 7D.
How would you compare those to the Nikon series particular the N75 SLR?
I'm not much into camera's but I will need one maybe around Christmas I will purchase one or yearly 2013, if we are around.

So you might ask what do I want the camera for. A couple of reasons:
- Night photography( or areas that light is not always present) e.g. dark alleys, trench.
- Fast moving objects ( with less or no motion blur, i know that can be adjusted with adjusting the shutter speed or having it very low) with a reduced aperture. So i have been told. I have not tried it.
- Something i can carry, no heavy, not easily breakable if it drops one time.
- the N75 does have the range 28-80 mm lens for near, panorama and wideangle shots.
Anyway, if you can educate me on the cameras that will be appreciated.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

The 5D Mark 2 has a full frame sensor, meaning the image is the same size as a real 35mm film frame. It has 21 megapixels, I believe. The 5D Mark 3 isn't out yet. But it will have many vastly improved features and I want it. Badly! As for Nikon, they are more suited for still pictures and less good than Canon for video. They make great quality lenses, though.

I really don't know much about different Nikon models but they aren't bad for photography. But then again, neither is Canon. I have taken some pretty awesome pics with my Canon 7D. Just go with something you can afford. Most people get a Canon T3 but I'd recommend at least a T3i instead.
