technically Tarantino didnt write planet terror it was written and directed by Robert Rodriguez

It isn't a Tarantino flick. Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Till Dawn, Desperado, Once Upon a Time in mexico, Sin City etc) wrote and directed it. The two films (Tarantino's Death Proof and Rodriguez's Planet Terror) were a homage to 70's grindhouse movies.

Tarantino is a genius. Pulp Fiction is still his best work, but nothing in the past decade can touch Kill Bill Part 1.

Ah. That would explain it.

I forgot about Pulp Fiction, but I wasn't that big of a fan of Kill Bill.
