Worst Film: Quantum of Solace...Far too many continuity errors, the most glaring being the 3 piece suit worn at the end of Casino Royale changing to a 2 piece in a scene which is supposedly taking place moments after the end of Casino Royale.

Best Film: Dark Knight

Best Game: GTAIV and Fable2

Worst Game: Tiger Woods 09

Best Game: Gears of War 2 - don't let your girlfriend play it unless you have a wookiee fetish. Manliest game ever.

Best Film: Dark Knight - obv

NO shit, they really messed that up.  They didn't even attempt to try (yes, I know that is redundant, but oh so appropriate).

How the hell could anybody like Soul Calibur IV??? The game is awful...

I have loved the series until now, but they've completely fucking broken it. It's too slow, they've tweaked and altered too many moves and  it's the most unbalanced fighter i've ever played. Namco haven't lost their touch completely because Tekken 5 owned, Dark Resurrection owned and Tekken 6 fucking owns, but Soul Calibur IV is as bad as Tekken 4 was. It's pretty sure, but  that doesn't help it in the slightest.

As for Iron Man...

It wasn't a good film. I didn't like the Spiderman films, i didn't like the Transformers movie and i didn't like the X-Men films. I love comics, but not movies based on comic books.

And Nitro's a dick Joe. Nobody will be sorry to see the back of that fuck.

I'm not a fan of the xmen or spiderman films or even hulk etc.   But I loved Iron Man.  Course none of it made any sense, with a so-called genius weapons designer that's too naive to know what they're used for.  And the flux capacitor from Back to the Future.

But it never took itself too seriously, remained cartoony and I dunno, maybe it was just the tech-geek in me.  The suit was just so shiny!

On the other hand - The Dark Knight kinda did take itself a bit seriously - and bits like
the supposed switch at the end was just silly.  As though Batman ran off initially saying he'd save the girl, then off camera had run back to tell everyone he was changing his mind to save the guy.
How else would the chief have known, heh.

Tbh I preferred Batman Begins.

The Joker knew Batman would try to save his girl.  It was the Joker who purposefully switched the addresses.  Batman thought he was heading for what's her face.  He also knew Batman would get there first, maybe it was closer.  He manipulated Batman and Harvey Dent.  His whole thing is that (order->predictability->weakness).  In fact throughout the entire movie the Joker was able manipulate everyone as they relied on established rules and boundaries, while he did not.

He even manipulated the people who thought they were in control, like the Chinese accountant or the mob boss that put a price on his head.

Hmm, will have to watch that bit again then.  It seems a bit too easy to just say, yea he knew he was going to do this.  Personally I would've thought Batman would want to save Harvey Dent - since he was bigging him up and feeling guilty about beating people up himself.  But when it came to it he just went after the poon.

I liked the Joker's character, but the plot 'twists' were kinda contrived imo.  Not saying I didn't love the film though.  Only film I went to see at the cinema all year tbh.  Others I got on DVD.

Tekken 4 was awful, so true but there is a lack of good Vs games and to me the only one that stood out was SC IV.
I gave up on after Tekken Tag and Tekken 3 nothing else was better than those Tekken Games.
I kinda grew partial to that fuck, but _Majic_ is back and he is alright.

But it wasn't like that.
Thats why arcade titles like Marvel Vs Capcom, Tekken Tag, Soul Edge, Street fighter 2, Mortal Kombat 2, Samauri Showdown, were all successful.

Keyword of your statement: WERE. As in arcades are dead outside of Japan. Even well known fighting game series' struggle to sell real numbers.

Kill yourself. It was decent enough, until the goddamned plot twist.

At least there WAS a plot twist. What's so goddamned interesting about watching batman's story again?  I still haven't seen that movie.

And that would make your opinion of "Best and Worst Movies of 08" invalid.

I agree with Dan on this one the plot twist did ruin the movie somewhat, I was also enjoying it until then.  You haven't seen The Dark Knight?  Are you a masochist?  There are three luxuries in life that everyone should experience at least once.  Preferably much more than once.

1. Smoke some Chronic.
2. Get a nice piece of ass.
3. And you must watch The Dark Knight.

If you can manage them all in the same day, well that would be one fine fucking day.
