Is this DLC? a new episode or is it something completely different? It does show the Halo3 icon which to me would mean DLC or an expansion not anything new.

The game, or some element therein will take place during the first battle for earth, during the initial Covenant invasion, and you'll obviously be playing as an ODST.

I'm calling it now, anybody betting on anything else?

I just found that trolling the web, and it got me a wee bit excited for the title. If they clone Halo 3 gameplay, I will be seriously unimpressed, as I do have a rather public, and longstanding dislike of the Halo campaign element.

It's got some really great potential though, if they choose to not fuck it up.

I expect a ODST  squad based game , which would be sweet . My only worry was that in the trailer we see one last pod dropping in , i hope we are not playing as a spartan again .

On Xbox Live there's some kind of hint.  It says something about from high above to down below, or something.  It says get ready for the fall, or going down, or somethin'!  I don't recall, exactly, but it made me think it might have something to do with ACTUAL H.A.L.O. jumping.

Probably not, but if someone wants to go on and properly relay the info, my feeling wouldn't be hurt.
