According to the article taken from The Vancouver Sun

VANCOUVER-- Vancouver video game company Radical Entertainment will be layingoff about 100 employees, almost half of its staff, the companyconfirmed Wednesday.
The cut-backs stem from a decision by thecompany's owner -- Activision Blizzard -- to reduce the number oftitles Radical produces by half.
"Activision Blizzard iscommitted to making the best games possible and has elected at thistime to reduce the number of titles that Radical is developing fromfour games to two,"  Leah Rubin, Radical's vice-president of humanresources, said in an email. "Therefore, we will be proportionatelyreducing the size of our studio.

Last month, Activision Blizzard said it would go ahead with five gamesor franchises including Radical's Crash Bandicoot, and Prototype, a newgame created by Radical that will debut in 2009.  Rubin said Radicalwould be offering laid-off employees a number of tools and resources tohelp them find new employment.

No matter what industry you work, job availability and permanency is always a problem.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Its always bad to see someone loose their job, but honestly, what does Radical make? Prototype looks promising, but Crash has been garbage for years.
I dont want to celebrate, I want to sell you hate.
