Conquest is much much better than Gold Rush.  I didn't have time to pay too much but I enjoyed it a lot more.  The thing is this mode doesn't require unreasonable amount of teamwork.  People will actually play properly instead of camp and do nothing which is useless in Gold Rush especially when you're attacking.  The flags are everywhere and therefore more accessible.  I don't feel like I'm constantly being killed before I can even reach my objective.
