Metal gear solid 3: snake eater intro is very impressive.
Final Fantasy VIII intro- I love the music
Metal gear solid 2: sons of liberty intro is amazing!

#1- The intro of the original Panzer Dragoon.. Still gives me goosebumps!

I also liked the Onimusha 3 intro with the demons slaughtering the innocent people.

And while this may not exactly fit the top three for me, I also enjoyed both of the intros in Tekken 5 and also the new intro in Dark Resurrection.

I' ll have to think about which game intros would claim the #2 and #3 spots!

the Iwar one is like 13 minutes long, but it was pure magic at the time,

FF8, Chrono Cross, the two World of Warcraft intros are pretty good also.

I was surprised to see that it had a very similar style as Bioshock in the first bit (first time i see it).

As for my 3 favorites, i refrain from mentioning them because my memory sucks so i dont want to mention some games while forgetting about others who were better for me.

The style of Bioshock is largely inspired by Fallout. It' s the only great thing about Bioshock.

yeah Onimusha 3 intro is very impressive. One of the best game intros I ever seen. What I like the most is the music. I was never able to finish the game. I' m thinking I was stuck in some part of the game. I haven' t had the chance to play the first one. but I play the 2nd one and I finish it.

Same here. I finished the 2nd which i loved, played part of the first and didnt finish the 3rd for some reason. Now im getting the trilogy again (Hope i find a low price package).

A couple of game intros that I like are : both Shenmue games, MGS series, Skies of Arcadia, Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shadow of the Colossus.

Kingdom Hearts. I was skeptical about the game, but the intro sold me right there, from the music to video itself.

Final Fantasy VII, need i say more? Like FF or not, this intro is an integral part of videogame history. Final Fantasy X also comes to mind as a truly great intro.

All the Saturn Panzer Dragoon intros, especially Zwei. That song rules.
