Ah, Oreos aren' t that big in the UK are they? Blasphemy I say!

Between my dad and myself, we can polish off a good sleeve by our lonesomes (I think there' s around fifty in a package). They' re fantastic in milk, but ten times better in ice-cream or shakes. The worst bit is what they do to your teeth though. I have to get a toothpick, some floss, or sit there looking like a chimp trying to get it out of my teeth with my gums.

" I' m not a fan."

I don' t like store bought cookies, or store bought treats in general. If I' m going to eat something that will destroy my health it better be ***ing good. Speaking of biscuits though, that' s something I do like, warm, melting butter served next to some maple syrup for dipping.

In the english language this is what a buiscuit looks like:

" Buiscuit" is also french for " cookie" , that' s why people get confused.

Oreo shakes are good, although they have like 50 million calories.

I haven' t eaten oreos by themselves in years, I don' t eat shit like that. And don' t eat American junk food unless you want to become another obesity statistic.

I got one at TGI' s the other night. One of the best shakes i' ve ever had.

Scone?

***ing Europeans...

It gets me too. In some parts of the UK a muffin is a teacake and it' s just bread... but elsewhere it' s an actual cake (like a chocolate chip muffin). Muffin, teacake, barm cake, bap... different names for the same thing.

Scones are what you call biscuits and biscuits are what you call cookies. However, while you guys call all biscuits cookies, we only really call biscuits that contain chocolate chips and the like cookies.

So:

Biscuit...

Cookie...

Jaffa Cake...

In general, but Sainsburys has stocked them for a while.

While we' re on the subject of american foods that will most likely cut off a good 10 years of your life, I remember a friend of mine use to live in Germany and when she came to America she tried pie for the first time. Is there anyone on here that has never heard of pie?

No, but I' m stealing your stolen topic.

Oreo pie.

Heavy crust, ice cream, chocolate pudding, tons of Oreos on top, plenty of frozen cool-whip.

Strawberry-Rhubarb pie rips apple. Hands-down, no-questions-asked.

A tart is a pastry dish, usually sweet, that is a type of pie with an open top that is not covered with pastry."

lmao, I was thinking the same thing, but the strawberry and pumpkin " tarts" were the only ones I saw on the first page of a google images search. Apple totally deserves its spot as the dominant pie.

She likes it when I eat her meatpie.

Anyway, meatpies are like beef patties. Just because it has the word pie in it doesn' t mean they are mixing sugary CAKE with beef, that' s not what a meatpie is.

I seem to recall an old PC game which took place in a kind of Mad Max-inspired world that had a quote, " Time to die, meat pie."

Well I have to say Oreos are good in moderation and oreo pie is good, strawberry-rhubarb pie is the best pie ever. And you people need to get over the whole name thing, I mean I could start calling a pie something weird and if it caught on then you could argue about that, but whatever pictures are universal. Emo nobody likes you, so leave us statistics alone. New guy Shin_Ishikawa there are a lot of things wrong with you, please don' t share all of them with us.
