Gears of War Review By a 4 Year Old - May 21, 2008 06:24
I recently went back and played Gears of War MP. Not sure exactly why I went back to play it for a bit, but something incredibly funny happened.

I was sitting in my chair playing Annex on Gridlock. I found myself doing a lot better with the sniper rifle than what I could remember (still not very good), when my 4 year old boy turned to me and said:

" Dad. This is gay" .

My first reaction was one of utter shock, followed by a good ol' belly laugh. I couldn' t believe that I heard those words out of my boys mouth.

Anyway, I proceeded to ask him why he thought the game was " gay" and just told me that my army game (COD4) and my magic game (Lost Odyssey) were more fun. He even went as far as grabbing my COD4, and telling me " you need to play this one" .

Sorry if this doesn' t fit in this forum, but I just had to share this with you guys.

He has no choice.

I think the reason he didn' t really like it might also have a lot to do with the fact that he loves Japanese cartoons. He watches Bakugan, Yu-gi-oh, Avatar, and a few others all the time. I grew up when M.A.S.K, Transformers and G.I. Joe were some of the cartoons I watched.

I believe it has to do with colors!

COD4 is more colorful, and so is Lost Odyssey!

Gears is just G(r)ay

lol, that' s pretty funny. Yeah I think Gears is a little slow paced for a 4 year old to be entertained bye.
