Gears of War 2. 4 player co op

During Microsoft' s Spring Showcase today, Epic Games employee and Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski teased that the much-anticipated cover-heavy sequel could include four-person cooperative play.

When asked directly if Gears of War 2 will feature four-player co-op, Bleszinski responded: " We' re not announcing anything about co-op at this time, we' ll probably get around to it around E3 time, but rest assured, it will be bigger and better."

" Bigger and better" seems to be his buzz word for this game, as " stop and pop" was for the original. Sounds like they haven' t really decided one way or another.

Whats the big hoo-ha with 4 player coop anyway. System Shock 2 did it back in ' 99, as well it did 2 and 3 player co-op. They all felt mostly similar.

Well, Gears is badass though, always wanted four-player co-op... That' s
what made Halo 3 quite likeable, coupled with the record-feature.

It can' t be that much fun if he' s not here to take the piss though, can it? I mean, it' s been weeks since he got his net cut. Not that I care one way or the other, we both tear the shit out of each other in person, so I can' t take his back now, and then give him grief the next time I see him. That' d be mixed messages.

I hope it has more music than the original.

I hope they take out jack(the thing that opens doors). Every time they have to use him it always goes to a five min. battle. Its so predictable. Its like the locusts are just waiting saying " Hey, I think they' re trying to open a door, now we' ll get ' em."

Jack was used as an illusion while the game loaded the next section. Kind of like how the elevator rides work in Mass Effect.
