Okay, so i' m sure there is at least one or two artists out there amongst you.
Any of you got any game art to show off? I drew, inked and colored this picture of Midna from Twilight Princess the other day.

I know a few things aren' t quite right on her, but i' m quite pleased with the overall turn out.

Cheers. :D
And yeah she only has small boobs in imp form though. If i draw her in her other form, they are bigger so.

Anyone else got stuff to post? Eh eh?

Also, any ideas of others I should draw?
Note; i really suck at drawing males [:' (]

You can ask her I can even screw up stickmen...I don' t know how...but somehow I manage to screw them up

There' s only one area I outdo her in in drawing and that' s anime style drawing...she' s really good drawing and painting almost any style...but for some reason she can' t do anime style drawings. Find it kinda weird.

Also, i' ll try to do some more stuff to show you guys as i' m not going to have the internet for two weeks. Hope you don' t miss me too much.

I will keep plugging this until I finish Hayabusa and my Nero vs. Dante one..

I know I drew it a year ago, but my own personal art isn' t gaming art so there is
no point in posting it.

If you personal art is what' s going to get you a job in the game industry I don' t see how it' s not gaming art. I think you should post it.

I can' t actually remember whether I posted this, but it' s from the ones I can post,
I was still a Novice with the Wacom so excuse the overall quality of it, I believe it is
quite mediocre to the standard I can use the Wacom with now...

I also did this about 2-3 months before the Ryo Hazuki one...

I' ll see if I can post at least 2 of my recent works...

I tried a few times but never actually followed through. I may play with Flash again down the road.

How goes Hayabusa and DMC artwork?

You should follow through with that style, it' s really cool, especially the Link one, is the
Master Sword broken in that pic? Or is that part of the style?

I' ve been doing them both for quite some time and still obssessing over what should
be there and what shouldn' t... I' m using reference for these two, so not really copying
the image as I did with the Hazuki one, which I completed in just under 10 hours.

I also have to do a Zelda one, I' m trying to pay homage to the games I have
notched up more than 50 hours in..... Bullet Witch & Ninety-Nine Nights have
awesome characters I wouldn' t mind drawing either, but, have to take baby steps.

Marink!

It may not be hand drawn, and I did it on Microsoft Paint (Ugh), but it is videogame related art all the same.

I know it' s not great, but I' ve made much worse...

These are two variations of a banner I made for a TN union I am a member of. Obviously, I didn' t draw the characters, but I think this counts?

I' ve seen some great drawings in paint too but that pic is obviously a chopped up pic. You can see where there' s green around the bottom of the neck and hair where it shouldn' t be because the image was just cut from another image of Link then stuck on Marios body.

Here' s the start of a 3d scene I' m doing. Felt like modeling a gym. No textures or anything yet and this shot is about a week old. I have a bunch more models since then.

Here' s an old little WoW inspired hut I textured (didn' t model it) for a game I worked on at school.

You know what this is-

If we' re posting banners and stuff too that are game related I' ll go ahead and post my two most recent ones that I use on other sites.

Hydralisk from StarCraft (well, the StarCraft II vesion). Those things have one of the greatest creature designs I' ve seen in a game.

That' s really cool, did you sketch this one on the Wacom? I think it was in one of
your demo reels you put up, which in itself was impressive.

Yeah, that was done on a wacom. I hate my demo reel. It' s horrible. I liked it at the time but that' s just because I was happy to be done with it. The whole thing was rushed. Now that school is done I' m actually taking my time to work on stuff and it' s coming out much better.

Btw, Tiz, do you have Open Canvas? It' s a drawing program similar to Photoshop (just really stripped down) but allows you to draw online with multiple people on the same canvas and it saves a replay of the entire drawing process. If you have it (or happen to download it *cough*) I' ll put up some exports of my drawings so you can watch as they are drawn. It' s really awesome seeing a drawing unfold from start to finish (it plays it at like 4 times the actual speed).

No, I don' t have open canvas. But it sounds really cool, I' ve always wanted to look
back & see how mine or any other artists drawings unfold.

If you show me the gate, I' ll go through it *cough*...

Out of curiosity, are there any more hidden artists on Kikizo?

I have to make my demo reel pretty soon, but because I' m so obssessed with
what goes on there, I' m having a hard time bringing it all together..

Ah, well apparently the version I' m using is technically the last free version. There is a newer version that you have to pay for but that' s pointless.

You can download the free version HERE. It' s freeware so there' s nothing illegal about posting it.

It will start out in Japanese. To switch it to English just follow this image-

I' ll upload some of my saved files after my noon work meeting along how to watch the files (really really easy).

Photoshop. I have Adobe CS2 on my computer. Btw, your drawings are pretty kickass.

Rampage, that Cloud banner is really awesome. In what program do you do those?

Nice one Rampage, i' ll probably download it tomorrow, but look forward to seeing
a bunch of your workthroughs..

Where is it you work again Rampage? I mean you have a gaming degree, so I' m
assuming it' s something gaming related??

Photoshop. I have Adobe CS2 on my computer. Btw, your drawings are pretty kickass.

Thanks, I use Adobe CS2 as well, although I am trying to learn how to use Corel
Painter (something anyone that does digital art work should look into) as it gives
images a more arty feel. I' m not going to stop & learn it though, I' m just going to
learn it progressively.

Here' s a close-up of a character I' m doing for a 3D animation.... It' s 2D concept
work... :

It' s only a black & white render, as you can see the belt isn' t done...

I promise this is the last non-gaming related art I' ll put up, the next one will be
my Ninja Gaiden one..

Then DMC4...

Then maybe Zelda...

HERE' s some of my OC files. All you have to do to watch them is unzip the files, put them where you like, then go into Open Canvas and do File>Import. From there just find where ever you put the files and select one.

These were all done with friends. I' m always the guy on the left side. You' ll be able to pick out my style compared to the others. All these sketches are quick. Very little effort put into any of them. Just a way to have fun and practice with friends.

Well in another 10 days or so i' ll be able to actually look at the pictures you guys posted in full view, i kinda snuck on just to have a look but mum wants the rest of our limit so pay bills and stuff before we go back to ' dial up' speeds.

But from the thumbs you guys are really good. I' m trying to do some more GA but i' m feeling kinda lazy lately. Maybe i' ll get my friend to play silent hill or something when i go to hers tonight and just sit there watching her crap her panties while i draw the chars.

fun fun.
we shall see.

You can view a lot of my game related art if you CLICK HERE.

Most of it is pencil, mechanical pencil and colored pencil. A bit of marker was thrown in for a few drawings that had inking. Also, these drawings are very, very old.
