The first thing that springs to my mind when I think of Wii Fit is a more technological version of all those TV-shop machines to improve abs, health, etc. So I guess it' s a good thing businesswise for Nintendo. One advantage might be that it keeps track of progress which might motivate people more. It' s not the first health " game" though. Didn' t the original Xbox have some fitness game too with some instructor talking and so on?

I' m not sure about xbox, but PS2 Eyetoy had a teach yourself martial arts " Game" . I' ve never seen it anywhere though.
