It' s true.

It doesn' t look that bad, though whether or not the gameplay hold up...

Scrfew the hate, I thought Assassins creed was a great game. Sure it does have problems but nothing a sequal wont fix.

But knowing Ubisoft, we will get the sequal. and about 20 million more spin offs. Glad it sold well though.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine.

Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

AC is next on my to borrow list.

I hope they fix some of the issues in the sequel, indoor locations could make the game a lot more varied!

The only criticism I have is that there is no co-op or multiplayer, imagine it killing people in a death match using throwing knives or the hidden knife. I just can' t believe they are throwing this as the DS...be honest here vut the DS is a childs handheld, why give it an adult or mature persons game?

I guess they are hoping with all those DS' s out there enough are going to buy it to make it profitable, but agree with you would sit more comfortably with the PSP' s audience.

Most the people I' ve seen with PSPs are 15-25 and that pretty much covers those who want to buy Assassins creed.

Audience aside, AC would fit the PSP better just for the controls.
I dont want to celebrate, I want to sell you hate.

Really I know quite a few adults who have handhelds, so please don' t generalise. The point being made is that it is being ported to the DS which is aimed at children ie those under the age of the game.

On the other hand, few children play those adventure/detective kind of games on DS I suppose. And stuff like Metroid and some other shooters is also probably more part of what " regular gamers" play. Then there' s also Ninja Gaiden on DS which makes me suspect that developers might see some audience there after all. At least enough to recover costs maybe?
