Detroit Auto Show Produces... A Warthog? - Jan 15, 2008 08:10
The Detroit Auto Show is once again upon us, and my entire area is going nuts with anticipation. It' s the one time of the year Detroit gets some positive PR, so people are naturally pulling out all of the stops. They were airing concept cars on television this afternoon, and I caught pictures of the new Hummer HX...

Now... tell me that doesn' t look like a Warthog...

Edit: I don' t seem to be the only one!

Wasnt the Warthog kinda based on a Humvee in the first place?

yeah, the resemblance there isn' t worth noting IMO. Not really that close at all. And neither of those even have tusks.

You guys seem to be forgetting the VW that was shown in 2004 known as the Concept T.

This takes the cake as being the warthog rip off. I do believe VW even said they were inspired by it.

I rest my case.

The new Hummer HX is ridiculously amazing though! I' m really enjoying all the stuff coming out of the auto show. Autoblog.com has been having some great coverage of the event.

I may be going with a handful of people. It depends on how my studies are coming along (damn finals week).

Its similar here, we have to do an exam called the Leaving Cert.
Best of luck in your finals!

Thanks, I' m going to be hitting the books like a madman.

We' ve got big tests, but we also have exams twice a year, every year, with sporadic state-mandated standardized tests in between. The state tests are nothin' , but finals/midterms drive me nuts.
