Alex Kidd was after all in Segagaga, standing in the background while Sonic was signing autographs with a white towel round his neck

That is hilarious! Yeah, I saw something on a site that translated parts of Segagaga and apparently there' s a whole sequence where the player hangs out with Alex Kidd who ponders his career' s rise and fall. I think there' s a homebrew group working on a playable English version of Segagaga.

I just loved segagaga.

That scene with Sonic and Alex Kidd was amazing...I clearly remember the towel when he was giving those autographs...think he was also wearing black sunglasses if I' m not mistaking.

Later on I remember like this drill master kinda guy who kept making crappy games and who got fired. He and Alex Kidd walked off into the distance hand in hand.

And man I' d love to have an english translation of that game. That' s why I love SEGA even till this day. They knew their end was coming...and then they make a game like that.

I really want one of those t-shirts...Segagaga is a piece of SEGA history

Well, disappointing would imply that I was excited about the game in the first place.

Never played much of the original, and this one appears to be mediocre.

Massive sales = Polished sequel in the future

Which Mario Party are we on now?
