because far cry' s gameplay wasn' t good for multiplayer. And the only thing that was good about it in single player was the somewhat open-endedness and smart AI.

You would buy herpes if it were Sony branded. Why are you back? Leave again.

Was that directed to me by any chance?

Gaiden BLACK M8: Ignore Him.

BTT:

Been playing Crysis ' properly' Last Night. The Multi-player beta is limited in modes ' power struggle' is one on offer I played. PS involves you or your team to take control of an area, or a to be more precise, a ' nuclear equipped factory' .

What makes the game special is the feeling of being in a living world/map, everything feels alive, you really have to experience it yourself to fully understand. Then it' s the Nanosuite which can be brought up anytime by pressing your middle mouse wheel, or on 360 pad, left shoulder button. (yes this game detects a 360 pad once its loaded up).

Using the different powers of the suit really opens up the game making almost unlimitted strategies for your assault and defense. Basically i found myself using different combinations of the suit to get me out of sticky situations or to catch the enemy off guard.

Think of the suit being a tool that enables the players to have the speed of Q3/unreal, the strength of a super hero or the camouflage abilities of solid Snake.

The player that uses his brain and takes best advantage of these abilities, will come out on top,

Nanosuite gives Crysis MP a different style to others out there. Put it this way.. I' m loving my quake wars but admitt it feeling alittle ' basic' after getting used Crysis and it' s Nanosuite. I found myself trying to click middle mouse button to bring it up.. ' shit this aint Crysis ffs' .. i found myself sayng alot.

Gonna get back on it now...

But yeah Crysis sounds hot from what your saying i like the armor style suit. This would probably be my fav as i like to play defensively.

Better than a lot of games. Crysis will scale well, so on any setting the game will look good compared to other games on the same hardware. A far cry from what it can look like on max settings though.

Crysis is the type of game you hold on to for a few years. If you can' t play the game on max settings today, hold on to the game and whenever you do upgrade your PC the game will still be amazing even a year or two from now.

Think I could trade in my old card and get a 8800GTS for about 95 quid, to hit the rec specs. Wonder if its worth it just to play in dx9 mode though, since I wont be getting Vista.

Go for it. There' s nothing wrong with DX9, DX10 has better lighting and effects but it' s not a big loss. I have Vista and I' ll probably run the game in DX 9 anyways just to have it run better at 1920x1200.

You keep talking about 60fps when you refer to your PC games. Now are you talking about the video' s framerate or are you capping your games at 60fps?
