Best Fighter Ever! - Sep 25, 2007 03:19
IMO:
Ramon Dekkers
Extremely brutal, fast, strong and intimidating.

Runner-up
Buakaw Por. Puramuk
Fantastic timing, great rythm, modest and characteristic guy, seem like he' s having fun in the ring rather than fighting.

Yours?

Mike Zambidis- The only reason why his opponents survived fights against him is because he wanted them to live.

Miko Filipovic (Cro Cop)-He`s not rated as the best, but he' s still one of my favorites. He' s the type of guy that could kick anyones ass in a normal match but in a title match he tends to lose by some fluke even against people he' s already beaten. Almost like he' s unlucky. But he' s what I call a real fighter, he doesn' t do grapples like a pussy, he' s a striker. He fights like a kick boxer. That' s why he has the best highlights. Many of his wins end with him kicking his opponent in the face.

Mike Tyson-When Tyson was in his prime no human being in any time regardless of size can take him in a fight, certainly not in boxing.

DAMN! Reading REALLY is fundamental! In my rush I thought this thread was about fighting games, lol. When I saw Cro-cop mentioned that' s when I realized it was about fighters..

Well the fighters OTHERS used to rate as the best fighters were Fedor Emelianko, Shogun, Wanderlei Silva, and Chuck Liddell. I was SOOO happy to see the last 3 guys finally lose their matches! ;)

In the past my personal favorites were:

UFC: Randy Couture (GREAT fighter, very classy)
PrideFC: Rampage Jackson (Great Fighter, very humorous)

Both of my favorites sparring; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYimN742rHE

Since the UFC acquired Pride I now have two favorites in the UFC. Randy and Rampage. Forrest Griffin was never ranked #1 but his defeat of the supposedly unstoppable Shogun has earned him MASSIVE respect from me and I can' t wait to see his next few fights. But when he goes up against Rampage I' m afraid he' s on his own there

I' ve also earned much respect from Dan Henderson since he defeated Wanderlei Silva and gave Rampage all he could handle in their match.

Also in K-1 there was a fighter from Swedan or Finland (forgot where he was from) that I used to like a lot. I think his name was Remy Bonjasky. But it' s been a long time since I' ve followed K-1 so I don' t know what' s going on or if he' s still there.
